February Wrap-Up
It is the end of February (already!!) and spring is nearing. Hope you've all enjoyed the month and read some delightful stories!
Remember the Ladies by Gina L. Mulligan
Historical fiction, set in Washington D.C., in the late 19th century. Amelia becomes a successful female lobbyist and gets involved with the suffragette movement.
Made me feel: empowered and inspired.
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
YA fantasy with LGBT themes and absolutely hilarious parallels to Harry Potter.
Made me feel: (1.) happy; (2.) like crying with (mostly) laughter; (3.) all the feels.
A captivating and awfully funny book about the authors experiences of living with anxiety and depression. I can't even describe this book, but it's definitely worth your time!
Made me feel: happy and sad, then sad and happy. At the same time. It was a roller coaster.

Bradbury's classic sci-fi novel of a post-literate future where firemen start fires instead of putting them out.
Made me feel: genuinely terrified and like everyone needs to stop with reality TV and read dammit.
A Darker Shade of Magic
A fantasy novel with a fast-moving plot and brilliant characters. The story plays on an idea of four parallel Londons existing and being connected only by a few magicians who can travel from one universe to another.

Made me feel: SO excited because of the kick-ass heroine in this book! The world-building was amazing as well.
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries!
Soliloquies about having to wait for AGOS to everyone who will listen.....Hamilton!
